The triangle box is a good idea where there are no obstructions in the apex. sometimes there may be a television aerial or a chimney breast in the way, in which case 1 or 2 half triangles is a way forwards.
As with the triangle box, the design needs to be customised for different roof angles and eaves widths. The example below was installed in a primary school in Over, Cambs. This design makes the retrofitting of cameras straightforward. The sloping ramps are to keep the actors "on stage" at all times.
The materials are 12mm weather-proof plywood. The canopies are made by cutting a piece of 3"x2" in half at 45°. They provide shelter from sun and rain and to some degree against predators.
